the stock FX wheel is ~30.4" diameter. these 24's originally had 275/30-24's, that was the 24's equivalent to stock size.
these replacement tires are now 295/35-24's and the wheel is now 32.3" diameter. almost 2 full inches larger than stock. it really stuffs the wheel well of the fx. these wheels flushed out and sitting nice and low is just so hot, pretty much maximum fitment possible, but because there so big and the offset is so flushed they just rub like crazy and can't be used with the FX lowered much at all.
to run a wheel like this the fx would have to sit pretty high and have that 4X4 look unless it's massaged a bit to allow the wheel to tuck. in order to ride low you have to have room for the tire to completely tuck into the body instead of hitting the body.
what I did was flare the fenders edges as much as possible, reformed the molding area, I flattened it completely and flared it all out and then also stretched the fenders and quarters out as much as possible without cutting and welding, just to get enough clearance to fully tuck. I also had to modify the inner fender liners in the front fenders. the moldings will be bonded back on the molding will only flare out very slightly throughout the center of the arches and it'll just look like it belongs that way.
this is what the stock front fender edge looks like

and this is what it looks like after a lot of hammer and dolly work

and some test fitting at full compression

and the rear

and this is the test ride height, it drives well with minimal rubbing even at this height but of course final ride height will be slightly higher than this, I need to get the bump stops straightened out to dial in the final ride height but it'll def be able to stay pretty low .
