I'm over at Innovative Tuning in Buffalo to have my FX50 tuned with UpRev Osiris.
They are charging $599 which less than other tuners (quoted $650-800 at other places), and are local to my school, so I decided to give them a try.
Looking at other FX50 owners who have had theirs tuned with decent gains (Shumby - ~30hp for example) I'm excited to see what happens.
Current engine mods include K&N drop-ins, custom HKS replica dual-caniser mufflers (factory Cats, factory resonators)
They have a Mustang AWD dyno (their expertise is subaru)
Hopefully I will emerge with round 30hp more! :rotfl:

(They won't let me out of the sitting area…even just to watch my car on the dyno)
yeah, the place looks kind of hood but they're known in the local suby/AWD world...

update:
:at-wits-end:
I've been here for about 3 hours - there is a problem with the software being used. Apparently whenever they make a change it doesn't "save"
They were able to make a few alterations and get "about 5hp and 5fttq" but apparently are locked out of making any other changes.
They've been contacting UpRev for assistance and luckily I brought my laptop/textbook for studying (I figured it would take a few hours) so I'm just doing that while we await an answer.
it seems this isn't the first time this has been an issue, although when I brought up Shumby's "speed limiter"/5th gear issue this tuner said that it wouldn't effect what he's doing because it's unnecessary to be in 5th gear / over even 120mph so it doesn't make a difference. I even showed them Shumby's dyno chart and tried to call the tuner he used /osiris myself but apparently they are hesitant to help because this place isn't a "Pro Tuner"
Luckily I don't have much to do but study, so hopefully this all gets figured out.
So, now we wait. I should have just waited till I was home and went to VinnyTen or performance Motorsport for the extra ~$150
Now I am kicking myself for not getting HFC's before the tune, although a retune is only about $150…...
Let's see what happens….
