Well, we 2nd Gen owners have been waiting a long time for Springs do be developed for our rides. Eibach is the first to come through. H&R still are giving us the runaround. So far 3 others have them: Hollywood, mrlerry, and bubito.
So I bit the bullet and ordered them from a supplier where I got a great deal and service.
They are the Eibach Pro-Kit # 63101.540

I got them installed a couple of days ago.
I put over 200 miles on right after the install. What a difference ! I took the FX through twisties that I have driven many other times. I took them at speeds much higher than I had before. It took the turns with much less body-roll and felt much more connected or planted. The ride is just a bit firmer.
It is around a 1" drop from my measurements. When the install was complete, it was taken for a quick run and then the alignment was checked. It was hard to get the camber right while getting the toe in spec. We got the toe dialed in but my negative camber is still a bit greater than spec, but the bonus is fantastic handling. It cannot be corrected any better unless camber arms were available. I am going to leave it set like that until I put my summers on in a few weeks. Then we will check the alignment again.
Here are my measurements from the ground to the wheel lip opening:
Before FL=32 9/16", FR=32 5/8", BL=32 7/16", BR=32 1/2"
After FL=31 9/16" , FR=31 3/4", BL=31 1/2" , BR=31 5/8"
Before I ordered them I was not sure if this was enough drop for me, but now that I have it, I am extremely satisfied, I can hardly wait to put my wider 20" Enkeis on. It is really noticeable in person.
Here are a few pics with my winters and 18" OEMs on. It will look much nicer with my summers on and I will post more pics here when they are installed in a couple of weeks. We got 6" of snow last night :eek.:.
So here are a couple of pics.
