I was under Rip's 2012 FX35 AWD yesterday, remove the camber and toe bolts off this FX, and has determined that the SPC Performance Camber Kit 72265 will work on the second gen. I removed the camber and toe bolts, compared with the stock bolts from my 1st Gen. I laid the SPC template onto the toe and it perfect fit like on the 1st Gen. The stock toe and camber bolts and washers are identical between the two generations. The only difference between the two was the 1st gen sub frame was made of aluminum while the 2nd Gen was made of steel. The slotting process on the 2nd Gen will be a bit harder/longer since you're cutting into harder material and you will need rotary file that is designed for cutting steel.

Due to Rip's rear wheel offset, he cannot and will not slam his ride anymore to cause a major camber and time due time constraint that we choose not to have the kit installed. Currently, his wheel gap is 1.25" and that the look he's was after with my guesstimate of -1.6 camber; therefore, we decided not to order the kit and carry out the slotting and installs of this kit since he had other mod priority instead before shipping his FX back to Cali.

Here is picture of the SPC Template on the toe slot.

This was def exciting news when Andy told me this :) Now the only issue is the front, which cambers really bad. The rear is actually not bad visually but the front are def the issue. I will post my alignment results this week.

great info!
if you guys want to fix the fronts, my friend is a cnc machinist, if u can take measurements of what needs to be made and etc. He can do it.

Andy, you da man! thanks for looking into this after I hinted on using the same kit from the 1st gen. Now all those who have 2nd gens can put this to bed! :good: Teamwork at its finest! :highfive:

@SCY7H3, you certainly did bring me into looking at this while under Rip's ride.
@shadow, the 2nd Gen front coilovers is not pillow-ball top mount, so there is not adjustment at all. The upper arm need to be customized for needed adjustment.

I will hopefully try to get some measurements from Andy if I can before I leave back to Cali so I will def hit you up. Working on a camber fix when I back is #1 on my priority list when I'm back in LA.

Not sure why someone on here suggesting using an adjustable radius arm and a set of SPC Performance Camber kit to fix the rear camber problem with lowered rides! The alignment adjustments are strictly on the camber and toe bolts. The radius arm is not part that will be adjusted during an alignment.

Well, I did get to operate on a 2nd Gen today. I fix the rear camber wear using two SPC Performance 72265 Camber kit today. Slotted to steel subframe and replace the stock camber and toe bolts. I know it will work since the rear suspension is the same as the 1st Gen. Now just need to ship this 2nd Gen back to Cali at the end of the week and the proud owner will take her in for an alignment. :smile (2):

I'm going to talk to a few shops in LA to work on the front once I get my car back from Chicago. The front is pretty bad, I will post by alignment results soon.
