Tks for all great feedback

Heat gun is not recommended, its 'required'
Without heat gun, its impossible

Have tried tucking the best by the edges, hopefully it stays put with the washing and the weather

Is there no way you could have taken off that skid plate to make tucking the edges easier?

That plate was installed by the dealer already when i got it, have no idead how its installed or remove it. Used the outer black plastic edge on the plate as a cover, withiut the outer plastic edge, i dont think it wouldve worked and looked as great

Looks great. Nice job. I'd be interested in updates as to how it holds up to the elements. Good thing is you can re-apply if it starts to look bad.

So far with the rain storm we had and the blazing sun, its holding up real good so far

It will hold up for a while. I have a big 4x4 sheet at my house. And the heat gun makes it so much easier to apply and work with. Looks like you took your time doing it but it came out great. Nice DIY
