World Debut - Nov. 17th at the Los Angeles Auto Show

The world’s first all-wheel drive crossover convertible, delivers the open-air exhilaration of a convertible while extending the versatility of the Murano in exciting new ways. With room for four adults, space for golf bags or luggage (even with the top down), and a premium level interior, the Murano CrossCabriolet represents a breakthrough in concept and design. Set to go on sale in early 2011.

I must say I like:tup:. I think it's pretty cool:tongue (2):

cool idea, cant say I love it, but it will be interesting to see how other car manufacturers react to this concept, could bring about a whole new class of cars if sales are successful

Liking it. Some of the standard Murano parts (like the grill) still need to be tweaked but as a hardtop to convertible conversion this is very successful IMO.

You'll see these at a car rental place soon.

after looking at the second pic....i take my words back...it's starting to look ugly to me

that's one of the main reasons why I don't like convertibles, they look like ass with the top up...

...then, there are the convertibles with the hardtop (like BMW 3's, MB SL's) but the problem is... hardtop convertibles are EVEN more heavier than soft top convertibles.

convertibles are weighted down in the first place for safety reasons, hardtop convertibles are like whales with all the mechanics.
