i am in the market for rims and i have 2011 awd fx35. i was looking at these size/offsets and can someone let me know if this will fit or not?

i don't mind a little aggressive sizing, i can deal with a little rubbing and stuff. it will be a little lowered with megan coilovers.
the size i was looking at below in staggered format.

20x10 +35
20x11 +30

It will fit, but it will rub. How much will depend on tire size and how low you are. Also, you will need to roll the rear fenders.

i'll probably drop it about an inch nothing too crazy. tire size, i was looking at around 275 45 20 or 295 45 20.
They will fit. It will not rub unless you are dropped on coilovers. I'm dropped on H&R with 20x9 ET 38 (+15mm spacers) on265/50R20 and 20x10,5 ET 25 on 295/45R20 and have no fitment issues. I suggest you should go with this tire sizes if you want to go staggered because they have the same rolling diameter.

oh ok, so you are running staggered as well? so, with the 20x10 265/50/20 front and 20x11 295/45/20 rear would be the same as running square as far as diameter is concerned?

do you have pics of your setup? i wanna see what it sits like with this setup.

thanks!

Don't run the same size tire on staggered wheels. 265 on 11" is a moderate stretch and would look weird if the fronts weren't stretched at all. Also, it will look silly if you're not slammed. Visually, it makes the wheel gap look bigger. Just stagger the tires. Right now I run 265/40 and 295/35 on 22"s (9" front and 10.5" rear). I've never had any issues with the AWD. I think the diameter difference has to be under 2% or something.

cool... i'll check on the tire sizes availability. but as far as the width and offset is concern, it's all g? no worries? it will be lowered on megan coilovers. it won't be anywhere near slam city. i want to maintain a decent driveability and not worry about scraping too much.

The only thing you need to worry about is your camber, if you are going with coilovers on 2nd gen FX.

^ You can't. For now there is no camber correction kit on the market for the 2 gen. There are some members that are running coilovers and H&R springs (like myself) without camber correction. I say with the H&R springs it's really not bad (just set the toe as near as possible to stock setings) but with coilovers it will get worse and if you are driving a lot of miles in a year you will notice the uneven tire wear.

10" +20 will fit about the same as an 11" +30 - maybe 2mm different. I'd go with the 11" because it would look better. 10"+35 will be more sunken in. A 9" +10 will stick out about .5" more more than a 10" +35. This will look weird because the front rim will poke out and the rear will be tucked slightly. Honestly, your original specs were a better idea.

+20 offset on 295 tire in the back will poke out too much. The same for the fronts. Those are very agressive offsets. I would say to look for something like +30 offset. If they are tucked and you are not satisfied you can always run spacers. If they are too agressive and poke out too much i really don't know what you can do about it.
I agree with Shadow. The setup from your first post is the best.

ok... i know the fitment is not ideal but the only offset i have are:

20x10 +20
20x9 +10

20x10 +35
20x9 +10

so with that, i have to pick which will "fit" best. i can't really complain, these are free rims that is being kinda "gifted".

Go with the 20x10 +20 version. The fronts will require you to run a smaller tire, maybe a 255 though. 9"+10 pokes out and will rub if you're not careful. I'm low and on a 9" +25 in front w/ 265 tire. It rubs even at -1.5 camber (I set it there w/ the camber plates on my coilovers). The problem for you is that it will poke out a lot. At stock height, my front wheel sticks out over an inch. At my ride height, it's flush. If you're another 15mm out, it's going to stick out over 1.5" at stock ride height with a 265 tire. May look weird, but you can make it work.
