I went with 0 preload, and 7 hard clicks all around and love it. But love to try 5mm preload. Has anyone tried 5mm or more preload and did you love the feeling of the ride afterwards?

Which brand of coils are you running? Kido has 40 and Megan and BC have 30 for their dampening settings. For my Kidos, I'm right in the middle at 20 for the rear and I'm like 10 clicks from soft on the fronts.

I believe I'm around 8-10 from hard on both front and rear. Not sure about preload. It's been too long since I've looked at them, and can't remember if I adjusted preload.

What are the other KIDO drivers running or their rear settings? My CO's are going in now, I have the extenders for the rears but I am reluctant to drill. Finding a setting that works would be optimal If I can't live with it I can always drill and install the adjusters accordingly.

running megans, i adjusted all around 32 soft and hated the ride feeling, felt little bouncy and not stable. Anything over 10 hard i pretty much dislike. Also noticed the car feeling lighter, over bumps especially.

Quick question on the bc coil overs. I slammed my car to the lowest setting I can go. I got my ride comfort set at 14. Will I cause any damage since I'm maxed out with the coil overs and is 14 a good number to keep the ride quality whiteout causing damage to the coil overs under normally driving in potholes and messed up roads

That should be fine, but you can never know what happens when you drive on bad roads. I was on the lowest I could go on my 35 with BCs and it was set towards soft and didn't have any issues. Chicago roads are just as bad too.

yes lol why?

Glad someone on IS got them. Someone here on IS was bidding on them too and it wasn't me. :ninja:

I am at 10 from soft in front and rear (kido). The rear seems off but can't determine if its too soft or too hard. I'm thinking its too soft.

0 preload. 11 from hard front, 13 from hard rear. Seems to be the best for me so far. Handles amazing. No bounce and plenty of yummy travel with a finger and a half gap.
This is a daily setting. Track setting may go slightly firmer

5mm preload, 12 from hard front and 15 from hard rear. 2 finger gap all round(for now).

Honestly, I dont see a point in going any lower than what I'm running. Maybe different for 22's. Having all that travel is really good.
I'm so amazed at the handling right now. It was OK before, but there was such a narrow margin of error between getting loose or cooking a corner. I feel like I have greater room for error now. Bumps in a turn do not upset the car at all. The suspension now feels like it's doing all the work versus before I would have to really pay attention to the car's motion while it's settling. The car is such a sleeper. Nissan deserves an award for this chassis. It is fantastic on GTR's with the summer rubber. I'm keeping her & Can hardly wait for Willow :)

10 clicks from max in rear, 8 clicks from max in front. ~5mm preload in front and ~10mm preload in rear. Upped rear preload since I'm only running 1 lock collar and I want to make sure the spring doesn't pop out. Maybe 1/2 finger gap on smaller tires.
