Hey guys, Just wanted some opinions on these wheels. I've got a black FX, and think they will match pretty well, but wanted some feed back from others.

I know they aren't "name brand" but I don't feel like spending the money on forged wheels. This is my wife's car, and i just want it to look/sound good. I've already got an rx-7 thats got all sorts of expensive jdm crap.

Anyway here is a link http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/WheelDetails.cfm?IDNumber=lite-fin&SKU=6081&CheckFit=1

I'd get them in the the color shown, hyper-dark, 20 in.

opinions?

good pick on the 20s. I think they look good and will flow well with the car. Btw welcome to iS!

I like them but think they would look better on a car. Maybe a little tough to clean but as long as you upkeep with them it shouldn't be bad. What size tires you thinking of running ?

275/45/20.

I like the color as well. Kind of like a shiny gunmetal. Can i just buy aftermarket tmps sensors and have infiniti program them? Was thinking about buying wheels and tires separately putting on the tpms and then having the dealer install/balance/program the wheels.

It has to be an aftermarket that is compatible with your FX. Also the dealer (depending on which one) may refuse to use the aftermarket sensors saying that they will not work and they are not liable, etc, etc. They will also charge you an arm and a leg. I recommed contacting them first and getting a quote.

Easiest way is to purchase your stuff and have a highly recommended wheel and tire shop swap your stock TPMS into your new wheels before mounting the tires. They may want to rebuild your stock TMPS sensors at a minimal cost while swapping them over (because it requires disassembly to swap them so they may say new seals are required, although that may be overkill since they are brand new but better safe than sorry).

Also your new wheels may or may not be compatible with you OEM TPMS, in that case you will have to purchase TPMS adapters which are available from outfits all around the web. I highly recommend the IForged ones as they are cheap and work well.

I recently bought new 20x9 2011 infiniti M37 sport wheels in graphite for my black 2010 FX35 after an extensive wheel and tire search. Too many wheels look like they are for cars, and i think that's how those look that you posted. Unfortunately too many of the SUV wheels just look aweful. May I recommend you go with a 285/50/20 vs the 265 thats recommended, it gives a more aggressive stance.

I like the wheels but of course it is tough to visualize how they will look on the car. Do you know how much they weigh? They look light - could be a performance improvement over the stock 20s.
