Email exchange between me and WeatherTech below. It reads from bottom to top.

To be honest they do not tell us what the delay is. The side window deflectors are one of the longest items to be produced. Normally they do take around a year to be produce but if an issue comes up or if they are running behind they don’t let us know. They just give us an eta on when they should be ready, which can range from one week to a year.

Best Regards,

Steve

Thank you for your quick response. Respectfully, are you at liberty to share the reason for the delay? It seems like every time I or one of my car club friends request an update we’re told, “Not ready now, but in a couple of months”. When we follow up, we’re told the same thing again. This cycle has been going on for a couple of years now. In contrast, it seems you were able to develop and market the EX35 in-channel side window deflectors pretty quickly. We’re just anxious to see them on the market…I suppose you could have worse problems, right?

The side window deflectors are in development for the 2009 Infiniti FX35. We are hoping they should be released before winter however that can change. If you like we can email you back once they become available.

Best Regards!

Dear Mr. Sutor

Can you please provide an update on WeatherTech’s progress in the development and release of this product? Is it still your company’s plan to market this item?

Regards

Dave Harris

I don't understand why you just didn't buy them from other companies? There are other companies that make the side deflectors other than WeatherTech for the 2009+ FX.

I want the deflectors that slide in the channel, not stick on ones, that is why most of us have waited.
Aaron, if you know, please post the company that makes that style.

Similar to to Gee, I want the ones that are in channel. I know a lot of people here aren't fans of the chrome on the FX's, I am (at least on the liquid platinum color) and I don't want to cover it up. I also think the style looks more integrated into the design and less aftermarket.

I actually don't mind the ones I have. They cover most of the chrome nicely. In channel wouldn't cover anything but I'm curious if they're ever gonna make em

Yes me myself would like to have a set of the in channel one"s,i love my chrome so i would want to cover it up with the stick on kind anyways.:good::bomb:

Good find Baias:good:
Wish I could read it.
Thank you, Wayne! You can try with Chrome to translate the page. But doesnt say much. Just "clean look", "doesnt come with installation kit" and stuff like that. And the price is around 180$ as i said above. Anyone interested can contact them at info@infiniti-parts.ru

Thanks again Baias, please let us know if you go ahead with a set. There are many others here who will also be interested in them.

Now these look just like weathertech... Please let us know if you order these! I haven't ordered any yet b/c I can't find in-channel. I was very surprised when I went to the WT website and they didn't have them or the sunroof deflector either! I measured the sunroof and it's the same size as the one on my M45 so I ordered another sunroof deflector for it, we will see if that works out for the FX.
