tranny flush

So I'm up for a tranny oil replacement I called Infiniti to setup a date and they want to flush the tranmission oil and replace oil for 289 .is it good to flush the transmission never had they done before

I would say you can push it to 100K in my opinion.

Well regardless of miles and since you're getting new transmission, you might as well get it all flushed and replaced.

I've always been under the impression that if you miss the transmission service around 50k/60k, and make it to 100k, to just leave it alone. Might be dislodging particles that have built up by that point. Then again, I'm no expert.

some people never touch their tranny fluid, and have no problems. And some do and they do have problems.

$289 is pretty spendy for a relatively minor service...

actually in LA, they charge about 360 for tranny flush

actually every 60k would be good, no need to mess with the tranny. But i know some that have done every 30k

Yes, from inside. Only does it in 5000-6000 RPM range when shifting to higher gear.
