He just texted me.. He went 1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.. He said we will let it settle a lil bit before we go lower but there is def. some room... He wont send me a picture... :disapointed:

Doing the alignment now and he will bring her back.... I can't freakin wait....

Price I have to pay for only charging me $150...

Nice job

Do the 1st gen suffer from bad camber after lowering but be able to bring it back within spec? It sucks that the 2nd gen needs camber arms.

Camber effect is not nearly as pronounced on the gen 1 models. Depending how far you go you can get close to OE spec (my H&R's were fine), a hard drop will need the kit unless of course you don't mind shorter tread life.

Oh and......PICs!

How do u like the intake? There's one up for sale here and I've been contemplating it.

I LOVE IT!! You will be obsessed with how it sounds.. I haven't turned my radio on in over a week unless I can't roll my windows down! You should def. buy it, took me less than an hour to install.

As far as the camber.. My rear is pretty bad.... He couldn't get the bolts loose and didn't want to snap them and leave me without a car for the weekend or longer so he didn't get to crazy with them.. He got the front perfect though.. Guess I will be ordering the upgrade bolts so he can give it another shot.. I am gonna need new tires anyways so I am just going to run it like this for a little bit.

The drop he originally sent in the text had to be modified lol.. By the time he got to my house the rear had really settled and was at least an inch lower than the front so I had to adjust them in my garage (which thanks to IS and the thread on how to lower the fronts it was a breeze) without air tools so it took me a little while and had to go to a party last night with my wife so I never got to clean it up and take some good pictures.. It is the first thing on my agenda today so pics will follow very shortly. Drove it to the party last night so got some good miles on it.. Got a little adjusting to do with damping but all in all I heard no rubs and the ride really wasn't that far off from stock.. Highway was a breeze... No shakes up to 100mph with the new spacers so I am happy with that.. The tightness in turns is amazing though! Big diff. in my opinion from stock.. I think I am going to do some of the gtspec braces just to tighten her up even more!

I did manage to get these pics of the Spacer install..

Nice drop and stance. You will love the she handles with the braces. Install Kido Coilovers, GTSPEC lower tie and rear lateral braces on my BIL FX35 yesterday as well. Now he's desperate for the STB to tighten up the front end.

I was going to wait to do everything until I bought wheels but you guys convinced me to install anyways.. Thank you! so glad I listened cause I am loving it right now.. Pretty much voiding my extended warranty but I dont even care anymore lol.. Gonna do the braces next... New wheels/BBK next year...

I need to order the camber kits asap though.. My rear is way off.. Have you done those kits yet Andy? Do you have to notch out the subframe like it says on there website? 2 72205 kits and a 72265 kit correct?

Did he get the rear toe back in line? If he can do that, you're fine. I'm on BC's and maxed out on the drop in the rear. Camber is like -3.2 but toe is in spec. I don't have a camber kit. It's been like this for a few thousand miles no issues. I've been at over -2 camber in rear for over 2 years now (first on H&R's w/ spring mount mod) and then BC's without any significant excess camber wear. I check my tires all the time and haven't seen any issues. Right now I'm also maxed out on front camber at -2.5, no issues there either.

I haven't bothered with a camber kit because it would be pointless to bring the camber back into spec, at that point, my wheels would stick out of the fenders. I have seen camber arms recently made by Kinetix. Does anyone know if they actually work on our cars? They're listed as fitting in some ads, but I don't know if they're just confused.

:good: Looking sweet with the drop Rich. Regarding the SPC camber kit, you do need two 72265 kit. Since you have the GTSPEC rear tie brace, the bolt that comes with the SPC kit will not be long enough for the tie brace to be mounted on. You will need a to have a custom bolt made. Jeff (J3FF3R$0N) had some custom bolt made for us at one time. You may want to PM him to see if he still have any left. The SPC comes with a template that you lay it over the existing holes and grind it wider for the added adjustment.
