The Cupholders Suck

Man do these do these things suck, Every time i go into a turn the freaking thing slides and everything spills, What have some of you guys done to fix this problem...

are you sure you are not missing the spring loaded insert? I always thought the cup holders were pretty good in our fx's.

i agree that they are not the best. My poland spring always flip flops around in the cup holder. However it holds my sweet tea from McD pretty well, and thats all that matters

I have a simple policy to fix this problem. No liquids or food in the FX. Period!

dealer cant charge you because that comes with your car? go complain and youll get it lol thats what my friend did

that depends whether you bought the car new or used right? If you bought it used, then he may not give it to you, depending on what kind of salesman he is.

Even with the spring-loaded insert, its still not that great a design. And it doesn't work too well on skinny cans (monster, red bull) cause mine toppled once and spilled monster all down the side of the center console.

i agree, even with the insert, spills still happen. i always have some napkins from food places on the bottom and it seems to help. also, when i get my coffee, i stick a folded napkin facing the sip hole on the cup cover in case it spills while driving.

Don't get me wrong, its not the greatest design, but I'd rather have that lil spring loaded piece than not. It still works great for those travel coffee mugs, which I carry every morning. Keep an eye out on ebay..

i went to my infiniti dealer today and complained that mine didn't have one and so they ordered me a new one, for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
