stoptech stainless brake lines

well they got me.. i bought the stop tech lines front and rear, ebc sport rotors front and rear (fronts are $$$ for the 06+) and some greenstuff brake pads. saved 15% with a holiday code.. free shipping.. all that stuff was $721 shipped.

the front rotors for the 04 are about $220 but the 06+ are $385. so this is a great deal for 06+ drivers.

looking forward to using the DIY's on the site to do some work over the holidays....

so ss brake lines really help?

I couldn't say for sure because I installed them along with rotors, pads, and fluid, but the brakes feel great now. What I meant before is that these as lines in particular are well built, install easy, and fit perfectly.

the 06+ uses larger front rotors. i posted the approximate prices earlier.. about $220 was the cheapest i found the 03-05 front rotors for.

the rotors i ordered are the EBC 3GB, the fronts are $385 alone. before savings my order was $848 (already the cheapest pricing), so i would consider $721 a significant savings, not to mention brake parts are heavy and shipping was FREE on this order.

after doing brake jobs before its my preference to use stainless lines. i do this simply because i was able to cut the old lines with scissors, where the ss lines are solid as can be. after seeing how flimsy stock lines are, its worth the upgrade imo.

Are these brake lines the same for front and rear? I didn't seen an option for rears..

no, they're different. the rears are below the fronts on the page, i missed them and had to call up a minute later to add them to my order.

finally got an alignment today and very happy with the performance of everything. new hubs, rotors, pads, lines, shocks, springs and all the little bushings and rubber parts.. went in well and drives like new.
