Stock 20's black powder coat this weekend!

It was time for me to get new tires and the rims werent lookin great. Ihad them painted and it didnt hold up well so i figured it was time for something new/ the powder coat should hold up. Ill be putting on toyo proxes if anybody was wondering. This will be my second set and i really love them got an unbelievable price too. I'll put up pics as soon as they are done!

yeah, i've talked to jordan about his wheels. I'm looking forward to seeing how a black FX looks on black stockers. The only pic I could find was the black SEMA "stock car" that was posted a while back. Just cant seem to look past the pin stripe and stickers on that one.

FX45 Rims

Hey, Im new to IS and i apoligize if im in the wrong spot asking the wrong questions but here goes anyway. I was thinking of getting my stock fx45 rims powdercoated a gloss black. Will powdercoating work on my rims if they are already chrome? Any advice would help. Thanks

can you powdercoat chrome wheels..yes
will it last longer....no, since you only adding the material to the chrome part of the wheel. so when chrome starts flaking off, so will the powdercoated material.
