Hey guys GOOD NEWS, I been working with SPC for the past couple months about getting a camber kit in production. I been talking to Chris at SPC who is their senior engineer. I told him I have many people Interested in getting a camber kit if it goes into production. Here is what he said:
Mr. Rip Tiwana,
I was working with a gentleman with ATK Designs a few weeks ago who tried to fit our G37 parts on his FX35 because they’re supposedly based on the same chassis and we were hoping they’d work. Unfortunately, while the chassis is similar, it’s certainly not the same. The front arms have different geometry, more similar to a backwards 350Z arm, and the rear camber arm has a shock attached to it, which means our turnbuckle design is out.
We do sell a cam bolt kit that should work on the rear but If you would be willing to get me some bolt length measurements, we could figure out which kit works and have you give it a try. It would be best if we can get a FX35 in. I have had no luck finding a FX35 locally to do this here, so if you know of someone through the forum in the Denver area, perhaps I could work out using their vehicle for a fit-up and to get some measurement and pictures for possible arm kits.
Thanks!
So guys if there is anyone on the IS that has a 2nd gen fx from Denver or even anywhere in Colorodo and that is willing to taking their ride down to SPC please PM me and I can set something up with Chris. This is a great start so we can get the ball rolling on these camber kits
