Should i be worried?

For next weekend im taking a trip to ocean city. I live in maryland so its somewhat close, a good 4 hour drive. The plan was to go with my friends car, but now that his transmission broke down we gotta find another ride, my fx could be an option. One of my worst fear is the car breaking down, other then spending money on gas lol.The car is an 07 w/ 71k miles, and according to the carfax no accidents and maintence was very good. Any concerns or advice yall have? Thanks guys.
 
Seriously? It's an Infiniti. If I still had mine if take it around the world. Is it showing signs of breaking down?
 
drive it like it's stolen, it's better for the engine to breath on open roads.
 
lol, check with the dealer and see if the fx has ever overheated or any cooling system replaced. Then i would be worried other than that, check your oil levels, brake pads, retorque wheel lug nuts, power steering levels, tire pressure, check tire for bad wear or if their are any nails to be fixed. I would perform a alignment and rebalance prior road trip. Also a thorough suspension should be a must for torn or busted bushings..

Had to laugh at this thread---Mine has 89,000 on it I wouldn't hesitate to drive cross country in it.Enjoy the drive that's what the FX is for.
 
You have an 07 with 71k. I have a 04 with 108k and wouldn't think twice about taking it cross country. The fx is a great reliable car! Mine is still going strong!
 
This must be your first Japanese car and your not used to the reliability. I remember back in the day 71K was like how 150K is nowadays. :hahaha::.rofl:
