I love it. Will measure the seats on my fx and will figure out which one to get.. If anyone does this first post some numbers or what size to get!

Well I can say that in my FX, the driver side gap was huge and passenger side gap was none! :smile: The fake leather sides of the seats were rubbing to the fake leather of the armrest whenever somebody larger than my gf (100lbs) was sitting.. :laugh:

I guess these things needs to be relatively flexible/soft to slide in there and not tear apart the cloth/leather we have over there each time the seat moves..
 
I'm wondering if this would cause any problems with the seat mechanism with the seat moving back and forth with the convenient exit option.

i think as long as the wedge isnt touching the tracks it should be fine. from the description it seems like it rests between the forces of the seat + middle console pushing on it versus resting on the support of the floor

how much does your seat move when you exit? mine moves ~1-2 inches so i dont think it should be a big deal... can always experiment with another piece of foam first lol
 
I don't think it will be an issue since this stuff is foam. The seat belt actually comes through a collar in the foam to hold it in place. The absolute worst thing that could happen is that you rip the foam. Every seat moves. These things are universal and work with any car, so I would be shocked if moving the seat messed up the function. The foam should stay in place and the seat should slide along the foam.

The seat cushion distance might vary from car to car, but the site says any gap smaller than 1-1/4 should use the small. If the cushion itself has spread out, I doubt it would be so hard that you can't use the foam insert. We'll know for sure in less than a week.

Unfortunately the signature is limited to 500 characters - I already have to pick and choose what goes in there. I have a few other mods not listed, though I might have threads on them. Seat wedgy might have to be one of those, just so it's not in my signature line.

Gives me an idea for a new thread - worst signature line ever:
