I just wanted to relay this msg to everyone on the forums.

I received an email from Rich at Rotorpros and he said they are having some sort of promotion right now. I made an inquiry for another set (this will be my 4th set).

i've been told they are an eeh brand.

Well I have been using them on the FX, Mazda, and G37c and I have been quite happy with them....

I have had them for about 2 years with no prob. That's what you have been told, but I have been using them and I actually like them. You gotta keep in mind that I don't race my cars or speed like a maniac in anyway nor do I have to aggressively brake frequently. I think they are good for just regular street use. All I could vouch is that They have yet to warp like my oem rotors...

What is the Promotion price?

I honestly do not know... you have to contact him. I'm not here to market for them, but I was hoping to inform the members on a potential deal.

Ever since I put my new wheels on my rotorpros brakes have been squealing. They did not squeal at all before I put the new wheels on. They usually squeal when I am coming to a slow stop, and it can get pretty loud at times. Other times however, they do not squeal at all. Does anyone know what might be causing this. Did I over tighten my lug nuts or something?

I guess this might not have been the right thread for this, but didn't want to start a new one.

Yea but I had no squealing/issues whatsoever until I put on my new wheels, which makes me think it is directly related to my wheels, or the way I installed my wheels. Could this be from tightening the lug nuts to tight?

It literally started happening the day after I installed them, which is really the first time I drove it after installing them

I agree with bleedingsujit. Rotorpros are a so so brand. They told me 120 bucks for drilled/slotted rotors. Makes me question their quality even more. A few of their rotors have cracked on here.

It is what it is. Everyone likes what they like.

Ok, forget I have rotorpros for a second and imagine I have OEM rotors. Now these OEM rotors are giving me no problems whatsoever. No squeaks or abnormal noises of any sort. Then, I install new rims, with 20mm spacers up front. The DAY AFTER I install the rims, my brakes start to squeak. Keep in mind there was no squeaking at all the day before my rims went on.

What could the possible causes of this squeak be. Could it be related to installing my new rims, and if so, what would be the cause.

what kind of rims are those? how heavy are they? thing to consider is the overall weight of the new wheels and the tires which if heavier than the weight of oem specs might be putting extra burden on the brakes. also, rotors and pads rubbing aside, loose caliper and other small parts may also be causing the noise which you may need to lubricate. check everything, tighten them again, torque the wheels properly and check for squeaks again.

The rims are OEM GTR wheels, so lighter weight than the OEM FX 20's that were on before. I don't have a torque wrench where I can check the torque, but do you think the squeaking could be because I overtightened my wheels? If I needed to lubricate, what would I lubricate?
