Has anybody here used Reship.com to buy items from us stores or infiniti dealers
i used reship to purchase the front aero kit from BEAVERTON INFINITI in Portland Oregon i got the UPS tracking number and confirmation of delivery of the item at the USA warehouse in Portland but still didn't received email or update from the warehouse that my package is there, and ready to ship to Canada so how long do they take to update

I suggest calling or emailing them. Provide the tracking number and item description to make it easier for them to find the shipment if it has been received. They have a large number of customers and won't be emailing everyone individually.

And how many people do all the tasks that are "part of their job"? lol Trust me, I've done this with these kinda companies for long enough to know that nobody gives a flying F*CK

I use a simillar service over the border from me here in vancouver.

They email me every time they receive a package for me... It's instant, as soon as they key in my number I get a notification, and they place it on a shelf with my number, when I go to pick it up they retrieve it from that shelf and give it to me.

you made a mistake of not asking the right questions on how they are gonna ship it and with who. DHL costs the most. With canadian dollar where it is, buying anything from US is absolute craziness unless you're rich haha

They will charge duties on your total (including shipment), I went through the same. Good luck at the border.. dont forget pics

DHL and overnight!? What's the hurry? :eek.:
For your information, DHL, UPS, and Fedex will always charge you duties and custom clearance fees. What is highway robbery is that duties collected by the government is only $5 to $10 for every $100 imported, but the custom clearance fee that is charged by the carrier to clear custom for you is $50 to $70, depending on carrier.

I still buy from the US. Canadian prices in Canada is still equivalent to the US exchange rate. An item in the US that cost $100 USD will still cost you $140 CAD in Canada.

yea but when you factor in shipping from US and duties and other fees, it makes more sense to buy from Canada (in your particular example). But you are right, on some things, they overcharge here in Canada, it makes no sense why it would be so much more than in US. On local forums, members are still buying tires from US because even with low dollar and duties and shipping, it's still cheaper.

Here in vancouver for parts and such it is still way better to either go to the states or ship from the states. You still end up saving money. Totally depends on your free time though, personally I value my time so I don't drive over the border like some people just to save 5cents a litre on gas.

you're in Van, you can spit across the border haha

Actually DHL is cheaper then ups shipping with ups was more expensive the cheaper choice was 257 usd with ups ground shipping but add to wait 7 days so for 40 bucks more myth as well get it overnight
The only way to save money is to go and pickup yourself but go from Montreal to Portland Oregon that's a nice long drive
So far what i have found is that anything shipped by the USA postal service i have never paid duty fees but with FedEx or UPS day always charge duty and customs fees

Update front aero kit was delivered today and another bill to pay here is what they charged

Duty fees =93.02 CND
Broker fees = 63.24 CND
Broker GST=3.16
Broker QST =6.31 that's Quebec tax

Total =165.73 CND
Next time it's way better to just google the closest Nissan infiniti dealer in Burlington Vermont USA drive there on a Saturday and pickup the aero kit yourself
they are even open on Saturdays and that includes the parts department

Wow, that was an expensive front spoiler- $534.75 US to purchase and send to Reship agency + $290 US to ship with Reship to Montreal + $165.73 Canadian for duty, taxes and brokerage fees

Best appearance mod you can do on the 2nd Gen
