Rear Parking Light and turn signal Wire location

what happens when theres power to both leads? both colors come on at the same time? i want to put these under the dash. when doors open, white leds, driving, orange leds. Only thing that concerns me is what happens when the orange leds are on at night( hooked up to radio), and then i open door ( hooked up to door light),

There are two power wires. One will go to the clock in which your tapping into and the other to the door light. Once you open the door the white leds will kick in and the amber will turn off. But here is the tricky part. You have to find the wire in the kick panel which goes to the door light and wire up a relay.

For your application, it seems you can wire it like I wired my Puddle lights. I used the domelight circuit, so the puddle lights turn on when I open the door. Domelight wire which covers all doors is purple/white, at the BCM in the drivers kick panel , black plug, pin 48. The purple/white throws a negative when the doors are open, and + when they are closed. So you can wire in a relay, pin 85 to the purple/white, pin 86 to +12v, pin 30 to +12v, pin 87 is the +12v out feed to your puddle lights, but in this case, the LED strip. Hope this helps.

But does anyone know how to access parking light and turn signal wiring?

Here ya go. You need to take out the spare and rip the trunk surround trimmings out to get the Rear Combination Light Control module on the driver side.

From the ebay listing you listed above, the LED strip ends with 3 wires (A: + White, B: + Amber & D: - Ground).

Let's assume you wanted the amber led to be your turn signal and the white led for parking light. Here is how I would wire the led strip to the module wiring:
Left LED strip:
LEFT PARKING: tap the led A wire into the White (pin 11) wire
LEFT SIGNAL: tap the led B wire into the Orange (pin 4) wire
Tap the led D wire into the Black (pin 7) wire

Right LED strip:
RIGHT PARKING: tap the led A wire into the Light Green (pin 9) wire
RIGHT SIGNAL: tap the led B wire into the Purple (pin 5) wire
Tap the led D wire into the Black (pin 7) wire

Thank you very much for your help

Just wondering, are these wires all on one harness? The schematic shows a bunch of different pin layouts.

Yep, once you get your hand at the rear combination light module, you can get at all thees wires at the connector

Which pin layout do I follow in the diagram, So I know I have the right pin location, I'm aware of the colors . Sorry for the excessive questions.

The B65 white connector is the connector you'll find all the wires you will be tapping into. The drawing of the connector at the bottom of both diagram shows the pin out.

Thank you fxlr8, but i may have written the wrong term. Im looking for removal instructions for the interior of the trunk. All the trunk surroundings. Basically so I can get to the Rear Combination Light Control Module

To remove the trunk area trimmings; take out the trunk floor, pull the trunk scruff plate straight up, undo all bolts you see (three near the rear seat back, two that holds down the cargo net, pry the track door like panel (below the 12V outlet) and start wiggle and work the black plastic tray out.

I just receieved the LED strips. When power is applied to both, it only illuminates orange.

Well i finally took the bumper off and wired these lights. Of course I run into problems. The turn signal function works, however, the parking light function does not. The parking lights in the tails work, but not in the LEDs i wired to them (they worked for a minute). I checked the voltage coming from pin 9 and pin 11 on the BCM and I'm only getting .47 Volts. So is there something wrong with my BCM, is there a parking light fuse I blew, did I use the wrong source? What could it be? Like I said, my parking lights are working. Someone please help.

Sounds like you wired correctly. I would suggest just test the white LED on your strip by supply 12V to the wire A (White LED) just to see if they still good.

I did and it still works. Am i onlt supposed to get .47 volts from pin 9 and 11? Also when the brake pedal is depressed, only 1 LED on the strip illuminates. Any ideas?

Yeah you can do that too. Just make sure you have good grounding on the strip that's not light up.
