I've been looking around for Akebono calipers and I see a lot of them for G37. Will those fit 1 Gen FX? I also want to know if anyone has rear ball joint adaptors or any info on them so that I can get some machined? Maybe I can get some extra ones done for people who are looking for some.

The akebono calipers from the G37/370/FX50 are all the same. You will need one pair of fronts and one pair of rears.

Lol I had a set of the ball joint adapters for sale for so long, and nobody messaged, finally sold them at a discount, and now there is multiple people hunting for them...

Ugh I remember you selling them, but i couldn't buy them at that time. I want to try to get some machined but i have no idea what to tell the people.

I have like no info on them either, I opened the box when I got them it was a set of washers, a set of bolts, and the machine part was a set of CNC'd Cone looking adapters. I never even had a set of the rear arms so I didn't even understand how the kit fitted together.

Basically I can't even help you with info on what they were...

I tracked down a kit and should get it today
me and Jefferson was talking about mass producing a couple sets if there's interest
my bbk is back ordered so I'll have some time to duplicates it or Jefferson can as I'm outbox the country for work still

You guys have no idea the headache i went thru trying to find the set
and it's still not even here yet!!!

but yeah Jeffs a good guy helping me get a bunch of parts as well!

I think that's how sky14 found me. He PM'd me asking if I had a kit though I had never posted it for sale. As it turns out, I decided not to do the rear upgrade so my kit is somewhere in customs right now on it's way to him. Hopefully no more delays.

That's excellent news. Cause I have had two people message me about if I sold my kit. I'll message this thread to them.

If you're just doing the front will you be adding spacers for clearance? (I guess this depends on the rims you're using...)

It's a big caliper so many aftermarket wheels will need a spacer depending on spoke design and offset. But you won't know until you test fit.

Hey guys...anyone know where I can source a pair of ball joint adapters for the rears?? Did anyone end up making them?

Also, where is the cheapest place to get the Fx50 rear knuckles??

I'm not sure if anyone ended up making a set, last I saw someone was trying to get measurements of one of the last sets in existence.

As for the rear knuckles I think the cheapest place is Infinitipartsusa.com
