General consensus for FXer's is go with the 5/16. 5/16 is better for lower end torque. Our heavy vehicles benefit the best with this size. The 1/2 is better for upper range..like racing on the freeway like 350's or G's.
ISO is used in cold weather area's. Being in Chicago Pupp....you should definately get this option, along with the TB thermal.
Best one for Pupp:
350Z 5/16" Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer
350Z 5/16" Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer
The Motordyne Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer adds 12HP-14HP and reduces the effect of power robbing heat soak by thermally isolating both the upper and lower plenum. Its 5/16" thickness provides the best overall performance and is fully compatible with your engine cover and strut bar.
All Motordyne Iso Thermal systems keep your upper and lower plenum cooled without the risk of throttle body freezing when driving in cold weather.
Use the Copper if it snows in your area.
