powder coating rims

whats going on guys. Does anyone know of a good powdercoating place on long island or queens? Ive called just about every shop and they all give me an estimate of around $600 and I'm a college student so I really want to spend my money wisely. Please any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Go to intrack tires on atlantic avenue in queens. 400 for a set powdercoated. Tell em john with the white fx sent you. Prob do better on the price. They do really good work.

If you want to take a drive to jersey, you can call eastcoast in harrison, nj. I know they have pretty decent prices and their work isnt to bad from what i have scene. what size are your rims?

Like we said before InTrack tires will hook you up and and will take care of you. Why go all the way to jersey and pay tolls when you can go to a local spot.

Have you considered having them painted instead of PC? Not sure if it is cheaper or not...

I talked to intrack and so far I am going there but the guy told me after christmas because right now the powder coating guy is selling christmas trees lmao so im gonna drop the rims off friday and pick up monday. They are gonna give me loaner wheels too! and pman painting was cheaper by $100 to $125 but I dont want it to chip and dont wanna deal with touching it up afterwards and all that so yeah I am gonna just go with powder coating.

i drive an hour out and been using them for all my tire purchases and issues.... always take care of them and they all work long hours to make it accommodating.

sorry to grave dig... but what are you guys opinion on pc 18 inch stockers ...i was thinking about doing it to mine or should i just search for the stock 20's

I personally have painted 18" stockers, painted them myself some really tough automotive paint and a clear coat on top its been over a year I haven't seen any chips or anything ! sooner or later I'll get the 20s and paint those myself too and use the 18s as winter tires, painting them yourself is the cheapest way to go.

Try Al's hubcaps in Mineola, NY. He powdercoated my M3 wheels black. Did a great job.

Shouldn't if done properly. The tire guide shouldn't touch the rim.
