I finally got a few things done to the FX so I thought I would start a thread for her and throw up a few photos. Below are some pictures of her a few days after I got her. The only thing I did at this point was put on a Thule rack system for my bikes.

Today, after waiting a week because of a scheduling problem, I finally got my new wheels, tires and springs installed. Since I had a week to kill waiting for the appointment, I had all my interior trim wrapped in 3M Carbon Fiber DINOC and installed a MOMO shifter knob.

Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated. I'm pretty excited to finally have some of the mods done, but I can see now I'm going to need a big brake kit to fill up that space between the spokes in the front

I'm going to have my friend shoot some good pix of her with his SLR setup. I shot these with my crappy camera and I was trying to grab a few shots before it started raining.

Those wheels look great on the FX!!! Similar styling - I really like the choice on your car. Great work.
The picture is missing from Photobucket so I didn't even notice until now that you had these posted in the beginning of your wheel thread. Great choice on the iForged, those are going to look amazing on your ride if you end up getting them.

may i ask what that wire is behind the iphone mount? and the shift knob look great!
That's my ghetto fabulous cassette adapter for the iPod. I'm saving up for an entire stereo install since my left speakers are cutting in and out. For now I'm going low budget until I can plan it out and get it done right.

nice. love the wrap.. i wanna get some H&R springs for mine... hows the ride on them... how low did it drop after install ?

Looks great, almost in motion even while standing still, and the color compliments perfectly. I was a non-believer in these wheels working but was way wrong, well done

The Thrust wheels flow really well with the FX.. These wheels aren't just for mustangs LOL... looking great
Thanks. And as a bonus, if I ever want to sell them there should be a good market since they share a bolt pattern with the Mustang.

I didn't measure the drop but it's not to drastic at all, looks pretty much like the advertised 1.2 - 1.3 inches. The ride is a little stiffer but that's also due to the fact that I now have 22's. Overall, I love it and haven't noticed any negative issues at all with the ride.

Thanks. I was a little worried myself but I love how they turned out. Now I have to try and keep them clean...

I thought that they would look nice, I was wrong...

They are frickin awesome looking!!! Well done!

Thank's man, I'm really happy with the way they turned out. I've actually had several people come up and ask me about them which surprised me a bit.

Looks really nice!!

Was the carbon fiber trim hard to do?

I'm a lazy sod so I paid someone to do it for me. He came to my house, picked up the parts, and dropped them off 2 days later all finished and ready for installation. From other postings I've seen on here it's not that difficult, just takes a few hours and some patience.

There are a couple of threads on there that can tell you more:
