Anyone know the part number for the FX50S with OEM 21's, the spare wheel part number?

I'm looking specifically for the FX50S and not the FX35, because the FX50S has a big brake kit and the spare wheel has an Alloy Wheel vs a Steel Wheel, that clear big brake kits.

Thanks.

Aah, we should have check Jonas trunk for that spare tire. I'm too been looking for a solution for the spare situation with my BBK. I have been playing around with different thickness spacer, but none seems to work.

Mini meet and then you can jack it from him :ninja:

I have a 38mm spacer (1.5"), non hub centric (some large hub bore like 72 or something), in my trunk.

I've tried that and it works. I just want a "better" solution and hoping the FX50s clears without a spacer.

The tire is the exact same, so you could remount the same tire onto the FX50s.

Rotora/JBT are a bit different in size in comparison to the Akebono, Brembo and AP Racing calipers (I have all the templates), so that could be why using a spacer and OEM Spare doesn't clear your bbk.

It might work on the rear with a spacer, maybe 25mm spacer. But then you would need to have an aluminum jack also, in case you get a flat in the front and need to swap a good rear to the front so you can put the spare on the rear.

Complicated? =)

 Too late, now that Jonas knows our plot, he's not gonna come without his spare.

Jonas never checks this website. He's not obsessed with it to check every thread. He'll never know.

Andy, let's lure him with Dim Sum at Phoenix and I'll say I lost my credit card at a car wash. In the meanwhile, I'll steal the spare out of his car.

I priced one out at a dealer recently so they should easily be able to get the part number for you with and without the tire. If I remember turbo's words corretly, it should fit over the rotora/jbt just fine as there is more room than with the akebonos.

Ed, I believe since your rear AP Racing rotor was 14.25" (not exactly 15"), that might contribute to how you can use the 38 mm spacer with the OE spare. Or it could be that the JBT caliper is that much bigger! I would like to try your 38 mm spacer on mine when you come by.

You really think Jonas don't check every thread on here? He coined the term and he had admitted he is one "Infinitisceneaholics"

Let's do it next Tuesday.

I always have it in the car with me. I think I paid like $35 for it at some ghetto tire store. The owner could not comprehend why I only wanted one spacer.

It's plug and play, and actually a 1.5" spacer (typical American metrics...).

You are right the 14.25" rotor. It's weird the caliper sizes, as it took me a while to find two wheels to clear my AP Racing without spacers. My 15" rear rotor with 4 piston caliper is larger than my front 6 Piston caliper.

All three of you are caught!

I remember at Busse woods....I'm on the side talking with some guys, then I look at my car which is a few cars over and the trunk is open, hood is open, and someone is in my car! Your natural reaction is "WTF" and then quickly I just smiled....fellow FX family.

hahahahahaha....you're right...you will persuade me with Dim Sum!

Ed, here is the tire info:
Goodyear T175/90DI8 110M convenience spare
Inflate to 420 kPa (60 PSI)
Temporary use only Tubeless

I couldn't find anything from the rim though. After googling the tire, I didn't mind much either. Sounds like me may have to go through the dealer if you decide on this specific tire and/or wheel combo.

Wow, thanks for all that info. Do you remember if the wheel was silver in color vs black steel by chance?

The FX50 spare is a glossy black if I remember correctly. I saw it on a FX once. Not a bad looking rim either, to tell you the truth.

Most likely not. 15" rotor need at least 19“ wheel to clear. I've been searching for a spare. For the time being, AAA membership will do.

I was hoping this would work with my Rotora...guess I'll stick with my current plan to swap a rear wheel forward and putting the spare on the rear. *fingerscrossed*
