Parking Light Fuse

Can anyone tell me where to find the fuse for the parking lights?
I'm pretty sure I blew it tonight.

I looked at all the ones I was sure it might have been but everything was fine.

Thanks

There are 3 fuse box's in the FX. Two are under the drivers dash area and one is behind the battery and to get at it you will need to remove the passenger side front lower window molding to access it.

So I've checked every fuse in the circut except for the two that are under the front cover thingy like you mentioned Doc.

These are the lights that are out.

Parking, front and rear
Lisence plates
Rear tail lamps
Interior illum. (except the gages)

I still need to check fuses 71 and 78 in the last box.

Keemo ... It's in the engine bay behind the battery. My fuse also blew for some reason and I didn't know how to change it, I brought it to the dealer and they showed me where it was.

But why did that fuse blow now? Did you add or change something?

If you did then I would suggest an increase in the fuse amp of 5-10amps.

I was swapping out my DTRL and went to go turn them on and 'flash' they went out.
Now the DTRL work but all the other things dont.

I'd be pretty unsure as to start upping the amp rating on fuses.

That's odd. Did you buy the correct bulbs or try a different type?

On increasing the amps of the fuses, if the fuse that was blown was a 10 amp fuse just replace it with a 15amp.

Nope, same bulbs. I checked it and it looked like one if the metal prong things was bent a bit. Maybe it wasent getting full contact and sparked.

I guess what I'm saying that worries me is that they must have used a 10A in that spot for a reason.

Yes, but increasing it not harm the vehicle especially if the power drawl needs it. I had increase both my fog light amp fuse and my center console amp fuse to accommodate the extra power requirements and everything has been fine.

Did the fuse effect the same things?

when my fuse blew, it knocked out all my parking lights DTRL's included. Your DTRL's were still working after the fuse blew?

Yah, weird eh?

They don't work if I just turn them on by hand and car off, but if I turn the car to 'on' then they come on.

Do you have a canadian version of the FX? That could be the reason why your DTRL's stay on even though the rest of your parking lights are off. Were you able to check if it was the fuse or not?

I havent had a chance yet to check.

I have an american version converted with DTRL's for Canada laws. That's a good point though.

Ok, so I forgot to post the fix. With this great link from 'Ilovemyfx' I was able to do this myself.

You guys can get the 06 FX service manual at phatG20.net;

They have 03 through 08 now available.

Or you can buy a subscription at infinitihelp.com for $10 and get all the manuals and tsb's you want for any infiniti:

Here are the pix. It's a small fix, but I was proud to figure it out and do it myself.

Here's the print out. It was fuse 71.

May I ask where is the fuse for fog light located? Tried the fuse box by the battery under the hood and also the fuse box by the e-brake but no luck. Where can I find the 3rd fuse box?

Thank you.

You have to remove the entire battery cover in order to access the fuse holder; there is another cover over the fuse. The second and third pic are with the battery cover and fuse holder cover removed.

Hey Keemo, I have the exact same outages ( parking front and rear, license plate, console lighting, tail lamps) after replacing the DTRL bulbs. Do you know how many separate fuses I will need to replace? Also, are they all behind the battery?

Thanks!
