painted my grille black

So yesterday i bought some paint. and i did my grille in black. its a tad but lightthan the Kh3 body color but its hard to tell anyways. I took the grille off and sanded the grille with 360 grit. ispayed two primer coats and wetsanded with 2000. sprayed on 3 coats of black and 4 coats of clear. heres the finished product. ill post more pics later on. btw i painted the emblem as well. beforeafter blackfinished product!!!

had some fun at cars and coffe here in la canada. The FX turn a couple of heads... but they all went to take pics of the aventador and enzo... cars soooooo dirty. smh at myself.

How would a matt or semi-matt black paint look? How do I get my headlights black on my 03 FX?

i'd like to try something similar on a gen 2 grille, except only painting the chromed slats black and keeping the infiniti logo chromed.

That's easy. The front emblem is held in place with screws. Unbolt it from the grill and have at it!

What type of paint & equipment did you use? Can this be done well as a home job with retail spray paint or would you only suggest with professional paint, equipment, and painting booth?
