Paddle Shifters 2010 FX 35

I have seen more than a few Canadian 2009's with Paddle shifters. there is a slate blue 09 shown in the IS media photo section on this site. I cant link it up bcuz I only have 9 posts.

Perhaps someone can confirm but upon minor search it seems to have been standard on the 09 FX50 but a option on the 09 FX35. For 2010 it states they are available on the 2010 FX models with the 7 speed tranny.

I have just emailed the webmaster on the Canadian site for clarification. But I have a 2010 Umbria FX35 Nav on shipment to me to be arriving in the next 3 days or so and I was not informed of that change but clarification is tough to get.....

My 09 FX35 came standard with the paddle shifters.

Yes I was under the impression that the Canadian models had stock paddle shifters on them. I know I turned down the 2009 model to get the 2010 model for 24 dollars more per month so I hope so.

I have confirmed through Infiniti Canada and US that the 2010 FX 35 no longer comes standard or will it include the paddle shifters. the only model offering the paddle shifters was the 09 FX35 and 50 and the 2010 FX 50 S---what a shame....

You can order the paddle shifters through a place such as Riverside Infiniti in Cali and install them yourself. They were giving real deals to the 2nd Gen Sedan boys so they could convert theirs. I have ordered stuff from there and got great service shipped to Ontario.

this picture came from the oc autoshow i was at today, from reading the sticker and stuff it looks like the paddles came with the 2010 fx35 as a standard.

unless the sticker was lying to me

heres a pick i snaped

thats weird. i spoke with a rep from infiniti directly. and yesterday went by my dealership where mine is landing on monday and saw 3 2010 fx's one was an fx50 and 2 were fx 35, all of which were 7at awd and none of them had paddle shifters.

I think, in my opinion, paddle shifters useless. It makes no difference to me whether it is there or not.
I used to think that, but now that I have it, I like it.
I really like to use the paddle shifters when I am in drive and I encounter a few twisties. I don't have to take my hand off the steering whell to put it in sport mode to shift. I just stretch out my fingers from the wheel and downshift, when you finish using the paddles it goes back into drive mode itself, when it notices you are not under hard acceleration or braking. It's really pretty good.
