driving through the WB lot lastnite and i managed to find a bolt that was sticking straight out of the ground... popped my hankooks sidewall and scratched the rim....... i had my own pit crew of teamsters come running to change my tire for me.... pays to be a girl sometimes:girl:.... oh well, looks like the 18s are gonna go on a little early this year.
question. i never put the airsensors in the 20s and the car always yelled at me... the 18s have the original sensors that came with the car... will the car now recognize that they are there... or do i need to reset something??

You should be fine with the old sensors as long as you did not mate the FX with any other sensors after the original 18's. Sorry to hear about your mishap Ash!

i was mad for 30 seconds... but now its funny... should have taken pics of all the guys coming running to my aide.... i told them i would just throw my 18s on since they had the snowtires on and it was about that time.... they were all amazed. and the fact that the 18s are also black... i made a few fans:wink:

you don't know how sexy a girl is that's into cars, almost every guys dream

sucks... I nailed one of my tires like 2 weeks after getting them on new, ripped a nice chunk out of the sidewall pulling it onto a lift, really sucks, at least the snows are ready to go

Yeah, it's very rare that women notice when you do something to a car. The car could have been painted a different color and they still would not be able to notice. lol

Well if it makes you guys/gal feel any better I just replace both of my front pirelli's as the one on the driver's side developed a tear on the inside of the tire causing the torn piece to literally slap against the inner wheel well. Scared the shit out of me, lol. I could see the steel braids on the the passenger side also. So I had to replace both for safety sake. I'm lucky the tire didn't blow. Going to get an alignment this weekend.

If the bolt is sticking out of the asphalt/concrete the owner of the lot is responsible for all damages caused by his lot.(not a loose bolt, but one that is actually embeded in the concrete) If the bolt is still there, take a picture. Send it to the owner of the lot and he will have to pay to have your wheel/tire repaired.

Also, this goes with the city. If any of you hit a pothole, and it damages your car. Take a picture, send it into the city that the pothole is located. They are responsible for the damages to repair your vehicle. I have to look up what branch of the city you have to call..I'll post up later.

Yes, this is true, but good luck getting reimbursed anytime soon. There is a big black hole in the city when it comes to these things.

problem is WB lot is WARNER BROTHERS. my employer. people who complain about things often dont get asked back after hiatus. ill take my weekly check and buy a new 150$ tire

I've been fortunate enough not to puncture a side wall yet. although I can't wait to get rid of the RSA's

After reading the title and author of this thread, I was hoping to read the words "heat vent" somewhere. Boooo!

Ya they are. That's why I asked.
But they are the one of the best damn tires out there.

It's the 35 that makes them pricey

Yea, I saw that but I needed mine right away. But how much would it be with shipping? Mount and balance is gonna be around $25-$35 per wheel. Have to be careful with 22's too.
