Funny, i thought I was the only Infiniti in California running around with Michigan plates. hehe
Ground clearance seems similar to Fx but the body itself is taller so its overall higher, the shape reminded of a larger Mercedes R class.
Speaking of R-Class, am I the only one who thinks a black FX35 with out roof rails looks like an R-Class?

I think I was behind one today actually. I looked at one up close last spring at the dealer. They are pretty cool. Only thing I kinda missed was the lack of a real exhaust tip.
