Either or. You can listen to it through the aux but must be parked with ebrake on. Or they can use headphones to listen while you drive
You know the factory headrests do come with wireless headphones right?
i heard there was a way to modify the head unit so you can listen to anything & watch movies while you drive but its alil complicated since you have to remove the head unit & do some wire cutting & soldering+disabling an e-brake wire. But you can also buy a headphone jack with a bluetooth receiver to a wireless speaker if you cant get your kid to wear them.

Yes mine came with them & i can listen to either screen through my aux setting.
Do I was just looking at suburban Infiniti of Troy where I ordered the aerodynamic kit and they sell the dual did monitors for $1,232.50 the msrp is $1,450. Well if you enter code ESTORE2016 you get $308.13 taken off the $1,232.50 which comes out to $974.37. That might be my next upgrade for the spring after I get the aero kit installed.

I installed them in mine and love them. I believe they are fm transmitted too but I don't use it
That's the same deal that I was considering also; price still seems steep to me even with the discount for what you get though... If you grab them, please let me know what you think. Are you planning on having a dealer install them?

I prob won't be grabbing them to sometime in late spring or early summer. i don't know who I would have install them.

Check out this link. If you have the Java or Tan interior you can get the entire set crazy cheap. A few years ago I got the entire OEM set for $450 wireles headphones remote and all). I previously had a switch installed so I could listen through the car speakers while driving. The set is awesome. Go to Orderinfinitiparts.com (the black ones are about the price you said above but the others are greatly discounted as I noted)

Actually found the part. I found it for $297 and of course it says for the 09 FX35 and only wheat color.
Does anyone know what's the difference between the 09 dual headrest DVD players and the 12 FX35?

I may be wrong, but I think the connection is different where the older second gen has RCA inputs in the console?
I honestly think the screens are probably the same since the video quality isnt really anything superb hd on my 2014. I would of expected a more sophisticated screen honestly. But theyre ok for screens. Besides. Each ones got its very own dvd player plus the front. So theres 3 in total!
Ok bc I was thinking of snatching up the Java colored DVD players and then just have a shop change the leather from Java to charcoal. I just don't know if the plastic that holds the screen is Java or black.
