New to the site

Hey guys I'm new to the site I've had my fx35 for a while now and am just now looking to get into modding it. I've been too focused on my evo to do anything to the fx. Now that I'm almost done with the evo im ready to start on the fx

For some reason I can't find out how to get my remote to work on my car anymore and its annoying the crap out of me  My remote went bad so i bought a new one and cant get it to work......do i have to take it to the stealership to get it reprogrammed? Or can I do it myself? I been searching for an hour or so and cant find anything so if someone can help that would be cool :top:

Have you tried fresh batteries in your original remote?
You cannot just buy a new remote and expect it to work. For new remotes you have to take it to the dealer to get it reprogrammed and you have to do all the remotes at the same time or the older ones will no longer work. You cannot reprogram the remotes by yourself.

And welcome to the Scene!

Possibly a bad remote. Let us know how it turns out at the dealer.
Btw, post up some pictures of your FX when you reach 10 posts! Glad to have you on board.

Havent dynoed it yet.....I plan on dynoing it once I get it tuned for e85 and meth. I'm waiting to get the fpred and the cams put on right now. When that happens im getting the tune for e85 too. I'm hoping for 500+

Very nice. Good luck with that. It would be interesting to see what times it runs at the strip also. Any slips?

I havent taken it to the track in like a year lol, im always too busy on the weekends....I need to take it to the track the last, time i ran it was about a year ago. And i ran a 12.2...hopefully next weekend I'll be able to make it to the track.

got any articles on this? all i ever heard about ethanol was that it was crap and you needed to use more fuel to get the same power. they even showed what vehicles would make on gas and then on e85, and it was lower hp numbers.

yeah there's tons of articles....i tried posting links but it says i dont have enough posts to put links in my messages

if you go on evolutionm.net and search e85 there's tons of stuff about it
ok cool, i think a friend of mine at school will also find it interesting. i'd like to see what he thinks on the subject.
