New member, new FX

Hey everyone, I just want to say hello and introduce myself real quick. My wife and I picked up a 04 FX35 AWD with tech package yesterday. So far we love it!
I am a Audi enthusiast at heart, more specifically the B5 S4. However, I am looking forward to learn more about the FX and get to know some of you as well.
Here is a quick cell pick from today. I will get some "good" shots with the Cannon over the weekend.

Welcome to IS! I came from a C5 A6, so I know the feeling. But the FX has stolen my heart and you and your wife will soon appreciate the FX in its entirety! Dare I say more than the Audi?
 
Bought my 05 in January and the mod bug hit. This site is addicting especially for getting ideas. You have a lot of good people here with a wealth of knowledge. If you do not get an answer about your FX here you won't get an answer at all! Congrats!

Thanks! More than the B5 S4?? I don't think so, but im a little bias. Im sure I will come to love it equally, but they are in two totally different fields. The FX is my wifes car, but my new project. My S4 was totaled back in December when we were hit by a wind storm. A tree fell on my S and crushed the A pillar. I miss it dearly but will get another one in the future.

I am all too familiar with the "mod bug". My wife is too! We are both looking forward to working on our FX. I would post a "wrenching" icon if there was one. We never let anyone touch our cars! A internal combustion engine is what it is, but im new to the FX so im planing on picking your brains. But dont worry, I always SEARCH first.

If you modded your A4 and you plan on modding your FX, then there's definitely a chance you'll love it more! I had a 4.2 on coils and 19" RS4 wheels and I loved the car, but the FX is better in so many ways. By far the FX is the best car I have owned and definitely the most fun to drive and mod up. :top:
 
An s4 is a far more rewarding car then an a6 4.2

I've wrenched on some those Audi's and I'm very happy to go to a vq/vh/vk platform. If cars never break down, I would be in a m or s type of car and never look at the infiniti line up.

Overall the fx will offer reliability more then any Audi past or present on the road today.
 
Hey guys. I tried searching and did not come up with anything. Or maybe im not typing in the right 'key words' in the search. Anyway, im hooking up a flip down dvd player to further heighten our daughters traveling experience in the FX. My question is this: Is it possible to integrate the factory navi screen to work in unison with the dvd player? So Mom and Dad can watch Megamind as well.
