need some advice..

Hey guys, i been browsing for used 03-05 fx35's and i wanted some feedback on the following choices:

#1
2003 fx35 (black w/ brown or brick'ish interior)
sport w/ no navi
clean title
43k miles
asking $18k

#2
2004 fx (silver w/ tan)
sports with tech package
clean title
38k miles
asking $20k

#3
Just wait until better deal comes through..

What do you guys recommend..

Inside the car is different...always makes me want to go shoot some hoops..lol:

It is very nice.....

Black and brick is a hot combo. If you can wait for the right one or spend a little extra money, try to get an '06+ with tech. I wish I wouldve waited to get tech myself. But I always wanted liquid copper, so my search and options were quite limited.

yeah id try to negotiate for the #2 try to knock off a g, maybe look at the tires and brakes, just look at the car overall to get a better price...or keep looking around...ive seen a bunch for sale down in LA on craigslist

looks like you live in LA so i dont see a need for you to have the AWD

Another negotiating tool is to check the maintenance history on the car. Call an Infiniti dealer with the vin, tell them you plan on servicing it there and you want to know where it stands with maintenance - for example- was the 30k manintenace done on #2 - if not theres a few hundred you can possibly negotiate off the asking price. By the way - in NJ 19-20K would be a pretty fair price for #2 with the low miles.

This past week I bought an 05 Silver/Black Journey 2WD with 40K miles for $18.5K using Autotrader. In less than a week 4 that I was looking at, 3 were sold (one was to me). They seem to go fast the miles/year/price point similar to the one I purchased. Autotrader is nice when the seller pays for the Carfax option.

I'm a newly FX 35 owner. I'm in TN and drove down to GA back to back (Thurs. and then Friday) to close out on a deal with a guy. What we got was a 2005 FX 35 AWD with Touring pkg. Miles 75k. Price $16,800.
