Who all on here rides bikes? Post up some pics! I don't ride one, but I am very intrigued by them and would love to start sometime. Also, those of you with sportbikes or R-bikes, what did you start out on?

this was my bike, it was a 2005 honda cbr 600rr with few mods...

i would like to have one but they cost as much as a brand new fx35....
so expensive, but so rare. maybe that's why they're so expensive..lol, :.smile:

my first bike was an 02 gsxr 600. in reality for your first bike if you are thinking about it, get it used. sadly enough its not if you are going to lay it down its when! i have wreked 2 bikes now and none are my fault!
so if you are gonna start riding i would say dont spend anymore than 4.5k on a learner bike. 600 i think is the way to start i think but then again i am a quick learner. i will post some pics of my newest bike soon

My bikes

My last three bikes, 03' ZX-12R, 95 ZX-9R, 2000 ZX-9R. Sold my latest bike a couple weeks ago, but will ride again prolly get a midnight harley or zuk boulevard for the road and a sportbike for track only. I have been down three times, but I disagree that you will drop your bike. Yes the chances are good, but it depends on how much U ride, where U ride and how U ride. Most sportbike riders don't put that many miles on their bike and might not ride in much traffic. I commuted with mine in DC metro among very aggressive drivers who are sport bike haters so much more dangerous than living in a less populated less face paced area especially if U don't ride as much. I got friends in NC that have not been down ever in 10+yrs of riding. ME I love the curves and pushed my bike to the limits 160mph +, but still rode pretty smart and safe. Ride safe, ride smart, gear up, maintain UR bike and take the riding class if U can.

Drove one and after 5 minutes thought, "If I owned this, I'd be dead in a week." Seriously too much power and not enough self control:wink:
