Anyone with a suggestion on where to buy? The best price I found was on Ebay for $329 (shipped w/o tax - I am in CA). I want to order asap so I can install it next weekend. Thanks for the help!

What else do you have exhaust wise?

I'd like to hear a video when you get it installed and what not...not many videos of megan stuff on the V6.

this will be a megan tanabe combo. It should increase my exhaust tone. I will post video as soon as I slap it on. I don't even have a ETA on the stuff yet. It's being drop shipped directly from megan and I dont have a date yet.. they may be on vacation

Well, I received shipping info today, but I was not home today to receive the package. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to receive delivery of my toy. I wonder if I'll have enough wiggle room to install them at home with ramps. Do you think I'll have enough room if I ramp up one of the sides so I can crawl in?

Ok, exhaust sounds so freakin' bad ass after the mid pipe. I actually swapped out my M mid pipes with FX mid pipes. looks like the diameter is beefier than the M. Now here is my problem: Driver side muffler is not properly aligned. It is actually hitting my bumper. I need to lower the muffler about half and inch. What is the best way to adjust the muffler. It's so tiring to install exhaust without a lift. I'm so freakin tired.

You can use a few washers between the rear hanger and the body to lower the muffler down a bit. That is what I did.

Ok, i need a crap load of washers. I think I'm going to try and realign the rear pipes and also my muffler. I will use some washers as needed. God, I love how the car sounds now. M's Y-pipe is pretty tiny. Plus, I stripped the bolt so bad I couldn't remove the stock mid-pipe from the y-pipe. So, I decided to take the entire assembly off.

What size washer did you use? I have my kids with me so I need to make my trips short and sweet. Thanks Jeff!

Not sure on the exact washer size, just any washer with a center hole big enough to fit on the 2 bolts.

This is 2 washers stacked on each side.

OK, I adjusted the exhaust and used 4 washers to drop the tip. I have about 1/2 inch clearance on the driverside and 1/4 inch clearance on the passenger side. Still uneven, but I can live with this. Will quarter inch of clearance be a problem on the bumper? Will it possibly melt my rear bumper? I'm a little paranoid since my mufflers were never this close to the bumper. On the positive note, car sounds so bad ass.

So your setup is a megan mid pipe with Tenabe cans? Does the Tenabe have a better exhaust note then the Megans? Im looking to update my exhaust but cant decide which way to go. I want something very aggressive sounding.

I also added FX Y-Pipe which is definitely more aggressive than the M's. I'm pretty happy with this set up. Even my wife likes how it sounds. It's a growl low end, but higher pitch tone at higher RPM. Sounds like an exotic car revving high. I'll post video when I have a chance. It took a while for me to adjust it so that it is aligned properly with my tanabes.

I'm glad you're liking your new setup. Very creative, using the FX's y-pipe. I can't wait to hear how it sounds.

I just did the equivalent of Mid Pipes on my Y34. I'll have to get some clips up.
