Couldn't disagree with you more. Besides, he's asking for a good place in Toronto to install aftermarket springs, not whether or not to install them.

I considered asking if he was joking and if not to qualify why its a waste of money when so many FX owners have lowered their rides with H&R's or Eibachs and feel like it was money well spent.

Definitely worth the money IMO. If you're mechanically inclined and pick up a $35 spring compressor its easily a DIY job. I was quoted around $500 by several shops in my area. I ended up doing it in my driveway with hand tools and the spring compressor in about 5hrs combined.

Even if I had paid the +/-$500 I was quoted for installation I would still say it's a worthwhile mod.
