Press release...

Sportservice Lorinser is dedicated to the Infiniti FX and presents the impressive results as a world's first at the Essen Motor Show 2011 (Hall 3, Booth 206).

The specialist of vibrant refinements of Mercedes-Benz vehicles provides the SUV of the noble subsidiary of Nissan Infiniti with a spectacular body design. Developed initially exclusively for the Russian market, this customization programme is also considered to be sold in other markets, should the demand increase.

Stylish coordinated components turn the front of the Lorinser conversion into a dynamic eye-catcher: The new front bumper with fitted LED daytime running lights turn the design of the front end into an unmistakable identifying feature. At the rear, the downforce-reducing roof spoiler inspires as much as the redesigned rear bumper and the two double end pipes for the standard exhaust system. Matching all this, Lorinser adorns the wings of the Infinity FX with sleek side skirts. These calm the airflow between the axes and draw even more thrilling attention to the Lorinser lightalloy wheels.

The latest development and highlight in the rim programme is an especially light 22-inch alloy wheel. Characteristic of the modern style of the Lorinser monoblock design are the five triple-slotted spokes. But the visual finesse is not the only thing the RS9 has to offer: Modern manufacturing methods, precisely machined surfaces, and the application of special aluminum alloys guarantee highest bearing loads at the lowest possible weight. The wheel/tire combination has been designed especially for the Infiniti and provides the vehicle with a bespoken grip: At the front and rear axle, the 22-inch wheels are fitted with high-performance tires Continental CROSS CONTACT, size 285/35R22.

As a supplement to the existing production-type interior features, there is everything your heart's desire - from personalized floor mats to complete leather furnishings. All equipment details are produced with the highest degree of craftsmanship and precision.

Looks good. Probably will be expensive mod(as always). I think Sebastian Vettel Edition looks better:smile (2):

wow....I love that front. Actually resembles the 1st gen slightly and somewhat resembles Ed's new ride. If this was with the new grill of the FX, I don't think it would look that good.

Wow, would buy that in a heart beat if I had a second generation. Always have been a fan of the Lorinser kits for Mercedes.

I bet it cost $20,000 and still has fitment issues though=)

Hey, those are Humberto's LED's! =)

Would look 10x better lowered 1.5".

What's interesting is this FX in the picture has the tech package, although I can't seem to see the laser in the bumper and/or wonder if it works even with it being covered probably by mesh.

kinda reminds me of the russian kits. That's probably what it is.
Quad tails & diffuser a bit weak, & the rear spoiler looks like a tack on part. Integration not there.
The effort is appreciated though

They need rookie designing these kits, doesn't seem like the kit matches the car...round vs square.

I don't really like it, doesn't seem to flow well.

Right on Dave, that's exactly what it was for. Here is what one of the articles said about it that I found on the net: "If the car looks too shouty and aggressive to you, that’s because it was designed initially for the Russian market. It looks cool and fab, but one might argue it’s also vulgar".

I am not sure...kinda like it. Or perhaps its just the LEDs I am in love with. Something really aggressive about the look (from the front at least).

At least they didnt puncture the hood on this one.

ew, yeah, doesn't seem to flow that well. at least that's how i see it. doesn't match the round and sleek curves of the FX. too angular.

Take of the antenna... makes it look like an R/C car.
The front looks too narrow as well. Either that or it needs a drop.

Seems like the front fascia looks unfinished or needs more refinement, lines are too sharp. The sides are ok but kind of cookie cutter. The rear looks the best IMO but not really feeling the quads. I agree it needs a drop and better looking wheels.
