Jbaker1121's FX50 updates and photo thread

Yikes, this bad luck is not giving up on you huh? Sorry to hear about all of these troubles. I'm sure the car looks amazing now though with the new front lip installed again and now that it's all polished, detailed and shiny! Keep us posted!

Old setup video:

I loved the sound, was not much drone or bass but driving around town (or with my parents) it was just too loud. I think for an SUV like the FX50 it needs to be more refined? Maybe I'm just getting old.... (turning 23 this year ;) So this is why we go to the new setup:

check my exhaust thread for more pictures and info.

The sound? QUIET! I still have factory resonators on the midpipe, plus these funky canister secondary resonators PLUS the two trashcan mufflers... it sounds a little louder than stock. I need to drive it more to break it in before I make my final decision on whether I like the sound or not. I may end up changing out (or deleting) the factory resonators for something else, since I had to cut it up anyway... but we need to see how the knockoff muffler holds up.
better pics and video will be up soon.

Definitely quieter, but it may get deeper.

Slightly off, but I like how the suggested videos are all members of the Scene.

Nice JB, looks good.

Did you take pics of your 35 in the same places at the same angles before? haha

Cool, the spring-loaded "release" on my cupholder cover decided to stop working. (actually has been like this since the week after I got my car back)
Can't press down for it to pop open, I need to press down on the hinged side in order to get the thing to open, with a "click"

Anybody have the assembly pics for this section? It's probably just a stupid spring but I think they messed it up when they were in there replaced the stick shifter thing.....
