I've been keyed!!!

Was out this past weekend and realized when I got home that someone had keyed the FX!!! :pissed-off: Now I need to get it fixed ASAP!! Anyone know of any shops in Chicago or surrounding burbs that can repair this? I want it to look like nothing ever happened... Here are some pictures

Another poor FX... Autowerks of Northbrook is a good Body Shop, heard many good things, but they are kinda expensive.

Heard of this as well.

Sorry about the car man. She'll get fixed up and looking new in no time.

That sucks man. I hate when my car has anything more than a spec of dirt on it. It would drive me crazy having a giant scratch down the side of it. Is it to the metal? You may be able to get away with brushing clear into the scratch, letting it dry really well over night then wet sanding it down and polishing it. Good luck getting it fixed!
 
like zebra said A&L auto body does great work...i had my grill painted there. they are in barrington/palatine area
 
I agree... Some people are still idiots out there!! I still don't understand what they gain by doing this.

Thanks for the input on body shops. I'm going to check them out this week.

It happened on Ashland Ave 2 blocks north of Chicago. We were having dinner at a nearby restaurant and came out to this pleasant surprise!
 
El Barco Mariscos is one of my favorites but I was at Ruxbin just down the street from there.

I sure would have liked to catch the person who did it and give them a bit of their own medicine. :beat-up:

I'm sure it won't be a cheap fix but I'll update everyone on the final cost and post some after pics ... :/
