Invidia Sound

I have searched around and checked out you tube but I'm just wondering if this exhaust retains sound of the stock vq exhaust tone. Hard to tell with some videos. I know adding test pipes and high cats makes it alot louder. Can anyone say?
 
Lol nice one.. There are some threads here, search, that mention invidia drones a but more after it settles in.. You're right, you can't really rely on clips to judge exhaust note.

Great pic Tim, those cats are without a doubt flowing quite well. Drone possibly if their purring hits the same frequency at the same time.

I am a firm believer in not believing arbitrary exhaust bytes. If you can track down a member who has installed a system and go listen to it that's the way to go. Also the settling or burn in factor PMG mentioned above is dead on. When I had my Invidia at 3,500 miles it got deeper and the drone increased by what, another 5%?
 
Any idea if the invidia exhaust for the g35 will fit the fx35. I know the tips will have to be extended but will everything else fit ok?
 
I think the bends are different. As for the sound, The invidia new sounds more agressive then stock, a little bit louder. But as time goes by and the exhaust settles in, it gets louder and the drone gets a little louder as Logan said. The invidia with high flow cats to me is a bit loud. The invidia with test pipes omg forget it. People will hear you blocks away. A member here had it and when he put on the invidia with the test pipes, i said to myself wtf? I have the invidia on for over a year now. Sound and tone is a little louder but it's not bad to the point where you wana bang your head.
 
A 350Z exhaust is the same as a G35 except it is a little shorter from the cats to the exhaust after the y-pipe. You need an extension of about 6" to install a axle back ecxhaust from a 350Z to a g35c.
 
I understand all the differences between the 350 and g35 I'm just wondering if all the pipes from the g35 invidia setup are the same for the fx35 invidia setup from the cats to the muffler (ie bends, lengths etc). I know about the tips on the muffler, but wondering if everything else is the same.

^^^ 6" difference
