Hey all! Tried searching, but couldn't find much. I will be painting some interior pieces today. Will be looking at a bunch of different paints, trying to determine which I should use. I am aiming for a color very close to Ivory Pearl, but I'm not sure if I'll find anything. Any suggestions for type of paint? Here is a pic of all that I'm painting:

Going to the body shop is probably the best you can do. But there are lots of spray can options like Rustoleum and Krylon at Hobby/Craft store you can try if you want to DIY. What is that ring/dial right in the middle? Is that the info dial that you removed too? Hard to tell. Also the circular trim piece that goes around the dial (middle bottom), is that metal too? I handbrushed all of my aluminum trim and it looks so much better. Be careful with the thin strip above the LCD screen. I broke the thin metal tab that inserts into the console and I had to use double sided tape to mount it back on.

i recommend a professional doing it or, just wrap it, there are options out there but they just never come out perfect.... and being that is interior pieces I would accept nothing less because you will always see the flaws and that would drive me nuts... good luck though.

I'd like the body shop to do it, and I will if it's less than great... but I think I can do it myself, and have some spare time this weekend. I'm at my parents house with a large garage, which makes me want to work on the FX lol. Picked up some supplies at Ace Hardware... we'll see how this goes :)

The ring in the middle is the ring that goes around the ignition, not sure what the info dial is, the middle bottom ring goes on the control area in the middle of the dash and it's metal. Thanks for the input, I was very careful :)

The absolute WORST part was taking apart the damn metal surrounds for the steering wheel controls... I lost 3 of the little TINY neon yellow pins inside the steering wheel, and had to turn the steering wheel around and around for about an hour until I could retrieve them all. I was pissed. But everything else has gone pretty smoothly. Here are a couple before and during pics. It is looking AWESOME!! :D

Haha those were my words when I finished the first coat. I did 4 coats of the color, and two/three coats of the clear, depending on which piece I was coating. The pieces look perfect and have a glossy satin finish, I couldn't be more satisfied :) Will install all pieces in the morning, and definitely post pics tomorrow.

Ok, ignition. I couldn't tell what that was. The "info dial" I referred is the rotary dial in the middle of the console, the user select dial. I thought you removed it too. The reason I asked is because I did a custom swap on mine, but I'm going to share that later. Thanks for the info on the middle ring. Like how you painted all your trim white, I brushed all of my aluminum except for that middle ring. Steering wheel controls was the most tedious to brush and access too. Looks good, so far. Why didn't you use Krylon clear as well?

Thanks. I was going to use Krylon clear to be consistent, but from my experience, the Rustoleum clear is much shinier/glossier. I am done and it's all installed... really couldn't be happier! :) There are some fuzzies from the paint along the edge of a couple pieces which will be brushed off. Here are a couple pics:
