Infiniti moving away from V8's

I would take a V6TT over a N/A V8 any day. DO it Do it..

it's all about improvements of technology... Today's V6 (or even 4 bangers) can easily out perform the V8s of the past and even do it with better fuel efficiency. I mean... look at the GT-R! It easily keeps up with the V10 Gallardo yet it weighs a lot more... A LOT MORE!

Nothing sounds like an NA v8 though.. More costly to add power compared to an FI V6 or I4,but they sound glorious :-)

i totally agre with pmg.. Same with BMW. They had the 1 n only v10 engine and got rid of it, now its v8 (doesnt sound the same) 2008 bmw m3 beautiful v8, they got rid of that too its going down to i6 tt

It seems to be a fairly common change now to see smaller engines but with FI added to make up for it. Nothing wrong with that.

With the mandated MPG requirements for future cars, the V10's and perhaps V8's are going by way of the dinosaurs. Reminds me of the gas crunch of the 70's.

Small turbos are the way of the future.

I would easily opt for that, just something built better then that turbo motor in the juke.

And just imagine if they had built the same tech and turbo around a v8 GTR instead of a v6.
