Infiniti FX35 2008 or EX35? Help me choose

I'm 6'1" and 285 (also not fat but a big boy) and I have an 05 FX, I fit fine and so will you
go for the FX:wub:
go for the FX because it is better looking than the EX.

My wife and I checked out both and we got a FX, it was an easy decision when we parked them side by side and checked them out.
Oh and I am 6' and 240lbs.
 
I don't have Infiniti dealer very close,so my plan is buy online and get it delivered. So hos does FX35 sport handles? has anyone drove old X5? what drives better in your opinion in handling,no the speed,just handling :-) ?
 
I really wanted to get black exterior and brick interior. But it is very hard to find. Has anyone saw it in real ? Does it worth searching for it?

Anyone else has any ideas of how sport infiniti fx35 2006-2008 handles?

They exist but iM sure people who have gotten that combination have kept it because it looks so nice haha. The FX handles like a sedan compared to the x5
 
It's not that hard to find black on brick. I wasn't really looking for it, but since it didn't bother me, I went with it since I didn't want to wait for another one with the same options to pop up.
 
Go with the FX, it gives a completely different driving experience relative to the EX. Comfort, handling, etc., are all significantly better, though the EX does ride nicer (it's the compromise) and has a better navigation system. Back seat of the EX is almost worthless for adults.

If you also have sensitive hearing like I do, the EX has an incredibly irritating high-pitched noise inside the cabin while you are on the throttle. As soon as you lift off the throttle, the noise disappears. It also does this with cruise control.

I test drove both ex and the older fx and the newer fx.

ex's handling and driving experience is the best of the 3. Honestly Its like a bigger lift up G35.

However having said that, I couldn't get over how small it is (why not just go with the g35 sedan?) and how useless the trunk is.

and also fact that, infiniti targeted the ex for middle age women.....

In OP's case, go with the FX. I'm on the smaller side and I still feel cramp inside the ex, I can't imagine anyone bigger than me feeling comfortable in that little thing.

EX or FX?
 
I have the 2009 model and i drove a bit a friend's 2008 model and i have to say that they do not compare, at least in my opinion, at confort, and build quality. The new one has better finish than the 08 model and not to say it's sportier and faster than the last one. As for the sound the 09 model doesnt have that roar coming from the exhaust like the older one. Not to mention the paddle shifters. If i where you i would buy the new model. It depends how money do you have to pay the difference...

I leased the 2008 for 2 years and 3 months. I had the 09 for approximately half a year now or more.

Hands down to the 2008. A LOT more responsive. The pick up feels a lot faster. The exhaust note is awesome. The 2009... meh, feels more like a family car sometimes.

I would go for the 2008. Sometimes i regret getting the 2009. The only downside to the 08 is ipod connectivity, besides that, get the 08.
