The Infiniti Elite Protection Plan will start the day you purchase it and the mileage allowance will be added to what is currently on your odometer (so if you have 45k and you go with a 60/60 you will be covered until 105k miles or 5 years from now). The deductible will not kick in until your original 48mo/60k warranty has expired and the deductible is per visit not per item repaired. Infiniti requires an inspection and verification of the odometer prior to issuing the policy, so please call or email me for the details. Just an FYI if some of you are looking at getting an extended warranty. I'm not sure where I will buy mine yet though, still searching around for more quotes....
 
are these bumper to bumper warranty, including all electronics, tech packages, sensors, etc?

I know many warranties that won't cover EVERYTHING like our standard factory warranty.

The Infiniti Elite is just an extension of the normal warranty that comes with the car....so it covers everything that the normal one covers.

Correct


I'm definately getting this before I hit 50K even though my basic converage expires at 60K. The email says the price quotes will go up once your past 50K.

I didnt even start shopping around for mine until 55K...I just called all the Infiniti dealers in SoCal and went from there. Once I got the lowest price, I called the next lowest and told them "hey so & so dealer is offering me this...can you beat it?"
 
Agreed that the only way to go is with an official Infiniti Extended warranty. I wouldn't trust any of the third party coverages from some of the horror stories I've heard.

effective May 1st the prices of warranties are changing and there will be only $100 and $0 deductibles, no more $50

price adjustments of warranties will be on average every 5k miles prices change to the next cost, and so forth (used to be on 10k incriments)
 
After some of the issues with leaky radiator hoses, bad exhaust, and all these software updates that come out I'm really getting this warranty now. Not saying something would go wrong but with all the tech toys in the car I need to have a piece of mind. Never know if something could fail or go wrong.

Keeping the FX forever though.
 
I've never bought an extended warranty for any of my cars because I have a bad habit of wanting something else all the time, but this is my second FX so I'm pretty sure I'll keep it for a while. I'd like to hear from anyone who's bought the extended warranty and found it beneficial. Wondering if it's better to buy it or just throw the $3k in a separate account for anything that might come up.
 
Hello All,

I am new to this forum and I just purchased a 2012 FX 35! I was wondering if an extended warranty would make sense. I am interested in 120k miles and what I am being offered are

$0 Deductible, 96mo/120k=$2425
$100 Deductible 96 mo / 120k = $1910

Do they sound reasonable? Appreciate any inputs...

thats a great deal get the 0 deduct one and you wont regret it. Extended warranty was the best thing i got for my fx

and also if your considering buying the 100 deductible bargain with them offer 2k for 50 deduct
 
Wow that is a crazy deal for an extended warranty!! Almost too good to be true. Make sure it's through Infiniti first and not just through the dealer or some other company the dealer offers.

Yes it is through infinity from what I talked. I am waiting on the paper work to arrive and will make sure.

I was told that infinity no longer offers $50 deductible. So might go for the $0 ded.
