Ouch. Sorry about your ride man. Take your time in finding the right shop. Visit shops that does body work on luxury cars and examine their finish products on their lot.

A good bodyshop will remove all the surrounding trim, door handles and the back quarter glass because the rear quarter panel is going to need to be blended along with the front door being blended. If you don't blend the color won't match. The half ass way would be avoiding all that prep.

Don't know about Canada, but the bodyshop I go to here in NY it would probably be like $3K to fix. Besides the car not being payed off yet thats why I carry full coverage on everything because these cars cost too much to fix in the unfortunate event of an accident or some other damage.

Jk but damn tho smh how did it happen?

sorry to hear what happen. Im located in Toronto also. There is a body shop located in Toronto called Arfil these guys are a hidden gem. Jorge the owner doesn't mess around or risk getting a bad rep. He does cost a bit more then the usual shop but he does everything properly he strips everything down to ensure a good job. Don't take my word for it here is his info call him you got nothing to lose. 82 Miller st. (416) 651-7598 he will explain to you what needs to be done and give you a estimate.

Left the car at Leon's Auto Body after my buddy's refferal. He fixed his hit GLK there a month ago.

They priced it at 1785$. The job is going to include blending mentioned above. Apparently the only new part necessary is actual door metal sheet and bottom chrome moulding. Priced at 350 and 60 respectively.
They shomed me a few cars they did and the color match seemed to be proper.

Now I was planning on painting the bottom plastic trim for some time now. Plus I have an intense scratches on my front number

So total quote is 3075
Includes
Rear right door repair
Front bumper repair
Full bottom trim paint

Now I need to decide on the color of the trim. Who has the trim color matching the body?

Tell your insurance someone backed into it in a parking lot while you weren't there. Then insurance will fix it.
Quite a few people would pull that off.

Yay for fixing your car and then it leading to mods.

Get it painted the same body colour.

Yep that's my style. Turn something bad into better. Me excited about lower trim paint and fixed bumper so much that the yesterday unfortunate event is much less of a burden. :smile (2):

So again where should I look for the trim examples?

Paint the lowers to match your paint. You can take a look at my garage, my car is not painted, but still it will give you an idea how it looks

Just payed these guys a visit. Asked them to be in slow mode with no time obligations. One week of work left.
The progress so far.
