Not too much of a hassle at all.. Just tell them the situation and they will do it.. Even if the deductible still covers it, I would pursue these people out of principle.. Would never let anyone get away with it.

Yup deductable is 400.00 think I will just pull the bumper and take it in to have the work done and re mount it myself to save some money. If I had too I could still drive it while the bumper was being repaired and save on having to get a rental car as well.:frown:

Sounds like a great idea! Sucks that it happened, sorry. Like the others said is there any cameras that captured the incident?
 
if there's no damage to the textured part then you may be able to get away with not replacing the bumper cover. Sucks that you have to go through this.
 
Damn Buddy, sorry to hear this....same thing happened to me a while ago when a friend was borrowing my FX for a period of time. Almost exactly the same amount of damage, except they broke out my lense too.

By the way I'm up here in Big Bear this weekend for Halloween. I'll try and swing by.
 
What a drag, pisses me off when people don't take responsibility for the stupid shit they do. Everyone screws up, just own it. Any upgrade opportunity? Painting the lower strip, sealing in the corners of your back up lights? Looking for the upside here........
