Hippo was keyed...with a knife...

So just the other day poor hippo was the victim of a knife. I was inside the car at night and due to the dark tint the person that was keying my car could not see me inside the car. He proceeded to use a knife to key the entire side of the FX. He started at the rear bumper and went all the way past the hood onto the front bumper. I got out of my car and chased after him to have him stumble but since he had a knife in his hands he threatened to stab me and kill me if I got any closer. I was completely unarmed and left my phone in the car when I chased after him. After running around the block and me yelling for someone to call the police he hopped into someone elses backyard. The cops came with CSI as well as the bird to look for the guy. He was never found after he disappeared from the street although they picked up a heat source in the area, I'm assuming he hid in a trash can or something. Long story short it was a long night and the culprit got away.

I'm currently at work but I will post up some pictures shortly...
 
Sucks to hear bro. Luckily the FX was only harmed an not you. The car is just an object and can be fixed, but a life can't.

No way bro, that's freaking messed up. I don't know why ppl are so stupid. Did it look like someone you know? Where did this happen at and in what city? Luckily you are ok but sad that happened to you
 
That's nuts! I always carry a knife in the glove for emergencies. The fact that he ran from you means he was scared to use the knife, beat down coming. Sorry to hear about hippo and hope she gets better soon.

I know how to disarm someone pointing a gun at me in close range, but not sure about a knife. Probably not worth it over a scratch though.

Should have ran his ass over in the fx. But then again it would have caused more damage.
 
Oh man Lerry, never chase. I know ur adrenaline is pumping and stuff. Bur ur life was in 100% danger. He might of had a gun on him. Now days everyone carries one on the streets. Its hard to sit here and say this because in the same circumstance i would of done the same thing. Glad your ok

Can't seem to rotate the images...but heres a jist of it. I really wanted to take him down but because he had a knife I didn't want to get cut up for no reason. haha I have a gun but I think that might be a bad idea, I might get in more trouble than he does...I have a knife too but I just wanted to get him into as much trouble as possible if we caught him, attempted assault and press any charges I could against him..
