Head lights

stock headlights are 4300k. you can throw in whatever brightness bulbs you want into the headlights. The higher the "k" the brighter the lights look but reduces the distance. As for the stock fogs, you can throw in hid fog light kits which are plug and play. Easy to install!
 
What website or vendor is the best to buy the 6000k headlights, and also hid fog lights? cost?

I see a lot of people have the 6k bulbs for headlights and fog. Is that because there are no ballasts to add, so they are plug in play. Or are they the best look and still great visibility? And what about the Halos? Any plug 'n plays for these? Thought?
 
Changing out the headlights are straight p&p.. The fogs need a ballast; search on iS on this topic.. Most choose 6k all around to match and have that pure white light with minimal loss in lumens.

most do choose 6k all around, Personally love the 8k + lights as well but I refuse to get them, one too many friends getting pulled over for having their headlights "close to the blue on a cop car" but then again that might just be where I live lol
 
^ might be Ocal doing his daily grind :eek.: . yellow fogs FTW, best in rain/winter.
 
I had 6k and liked them but they were still too "blue". I now have 5k bulbs and love them. Maybe you should try that.
 
Note that though getting 6k on the fogs makes the front end look more cohesive (assuming you also change the clearance lights like many did), it actually does the opposite of what fogs are supposed to do: improve visibility in foggy/hazy conditions.
This is especially important for us that live in places were adverse weather is common.
The 6K fogs dispersed ALOT in fog. I ended up swapping out my bright white fogs for 4350K, which was more in-between and markedly better in fog etc
 
I'm actually trynna do da same as jaisdad... I'm trynna get sum hids dat are close 2 factory headlights.
Thing is my day time lights are a royal blue color so it kinda shows off a color similar 2 6k. I'll post pics 2 give u a better pic
